- October 5-7: MAINE SNOWMOBILE SHOW
Augusta Civic Center
- November 10, 11: NORTHERN MAINE WINTER EXPO, at the Multi-Purpose Center in Madawaska. Sponsored by the Madawaska Chamber of Commerce (www.greatermadawaskachamber.com).
- January 19: RIDE FOR ACCESS
At
9 am, at the Greenville High School. Sponsored by the Maine Snowmobile
Association and the Moosehead Riders Snowmobile Club of Greenville.
Rally to support 80 miles of permanent snowmobile trail easements and
400,000 acres of permanent conservation lands that are being proposed by
area landowner, Plum Creek.
- January 19: B52 COMMEMORATIVE RIDE
The 44th anniversary of the B52 crash on Elephant Mountain. At 1 p.m. a brief memorial service will be held at the clubhouse on Scammon Ridge, followed by a ride to the crash. Hosted by the Moosehead Riders Snowmobile Club of Greenville.
- January 24-26: RANGELEY SNODEO, Annual winter snowmobiling festival hosted by the Rangeley Lakes SC (www.rangeleysnowmobile.com) and Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce (www.rangeleymaine.com).
- February 1-3: INTERNATIONAL SNOWMOBILERS FESTIVAL
ride designated trails in northern Maine and New Brunswick during this cross-border snowmobile celebration based in Madawaska ME and Edmundston NB. Poker run, parades, Fun Night.

Annual celebration of winter based in the Houlton area. Snowmobiling events, skiing, family fun. FMI:

ANDY SANTERRE NASCAR SNOWMOBILE RUN
Second annual ride held in the Caribou area to benefit Aroostook Mental Health Center Sexual Assault Services.

2006/2007 Season
- December 3-4: ROCK MAPLE RACING SNOCROSS
Sugarloaf Regional Airport, Carrabassett Valley. Racing starts at 9a.m. daily; gates open at 8a.m. Admission $12/day; $20/weekend. 5 and under free.
- January 14-15: IRVING 100 MILE SLED DOG RACE
Based in the Eagle Lake area, www.eaglelaketown.org.

- January 28: RICKY CRAVEN SNOWMOBILE RIDE FOR CHARITY
Ninth annual event, held in the Moosehead Lake area, supports The Marrow Foundation, Maine¹s Children¹s Miracle Network, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Travis Roy Foundation, and Give Kids the World. Minimum $125.
Breakfast, ride, lunch, autograph session and prizes.
- February 3-5: DEAD RIVER COMPANY RIDE TO BENEFIT PINE TREE CAMP
Snowmobiling fundraiser on behalf of The Pine Tree Camp for children and adults with disabilities. Event held in greater Newport area. www.pinetreesociety.org

- March 5: GROOMER RALLY AND COOKOUT
held by the Greenstock Snow Sports of Greenwood/Woodstock, all day. Club will parade their grooming equipment to the Kiosk on Trail 13, followed by cookout. All are welcome - donations accepted.
